Mares XR Over Pressure Relief Valve
The Mares XR Over Pressure Relief Valve fits into one of the low pressure ports of your first stage and acts as a fail safe against free flows caused by excessive intermediate pressure and intermediate pressure creep that can occur in a malfunctioning first stage or a first stage that requires a service.
Rather than the excess pressure being forced out of a second stage which could cause a free flow, the over pressure relief valve will be forced open at 13bar (+/- 0.5 bar).
